Pros: outstanding food, great mixed drinks, excellent service, good amount of comfortable seating, pleasant atmosphere Cons: small number of menu options, a tiny bit expensive (but worth every penny!) The menu may be small, but I guarantee you, they've perfected cooking every dish on that menu and they are all outstandingly delicious. For the Mirror Room menu (alcohol), their mixologist/bartender really knows what they're doing! The Bentley Rum Punch is phenomenal! For dinner, their pork ribeye is super tender and flavorful--the best I've ever eaten! Everything else on the dinner menu is also great, with my other favorites being the maple bacon bourbon salmon, catfish Jenkins, and crawfish bread. As crazy as this may sound, you HAVE to get their asparagus; I hate asparagus, and only ordered it to try to eat healthier, and it ended up being soooo delicious! Their brunch menu is also pretty good; even though their French Toast is only a la cart, it's also the best I've ever eaten. That and some sausage makes a fantastic breakfast! For dessert, their beignets (which are pleasantly dense and come with this amazing latte sauce) and creme brulee are truly something else. Try anything on the menu, heck, try everything on the menu! It's all *chef's kiss*. If you are in Alexandria--even if you aren't staying in the hotel--I strongly recommend you eat here at least once, if not multiple times!

Came twice, once for dinner and once for breakfast. Molly was our server both times. The service was perfect, the food was incredible with huge portions, and the drinks rocked. The seating was cozy if a bit plain, and the ambiance was nice

The grilled chicken breast with goat cheese was delicious. Enjoyed the Mac n Cheese. The broccoli was cold and lots of black pepper.

Went for a Conference. The place is definitely historical. Very beautiful in a classical way. Very intense in the haunted feeling kind of way. I had personally not experienced and supernatural things but I could feel the energy. The place was clean and spacious. The pillows weren't my cup of tea but over all I would recommend it if you are travelling through.

My husband and I had the most incredible dining experience at this restaurant. I made dinner reservations here for his birthday while visiting the area. Everything was superb. The chargrilled oysters were phenomenal!

This was my first visit. We started with roasted Oysters. They were excellent and I highly recommend them. Then I had a side salad with Ranch which was great. Then I had the catfish topped with Crab, it was good. A different flavor then I expected.l, but very good. Also had the spinach which was good. My dinner mate had the cabbage which I did not see on the menu, but he raved about it.

I visit a lot of establishments. This IS fine dinning above standard. And at reasonable prices. We stopped in for lunch (honestly, minutes before closing lunch). Service was outstanding, and the food without exception, outstanding. I had the bourbon Salmon. OMG, I've never tasted a semi-sweet drizzle that was this good. My wife, red beans/rice with blackened Catfish. Again, old skool LA recipe - outstanding. And generous portions Just Yum
